I had about a three month adjustment period but all has been fine since then. Don't know if I was just lucky.

I venture a guess you were having heartburn and gastro issues upper and lower before they removed it. You might be in the camp of a lot of folks like myself. Some stuff that did bother me before now doesn't , some stuff that never did now does and then there is the dice roll on unknown foods and such. I suggest experiment and keep Imodium handy for a while.

Well if they sonogramed it and saw polyps or did after removal they are checking for cancer. If they have not changed their minds what they told me was even if it was generally it did not go beyond the gall bladder itself. Curious did you right shoulder ache for a while before you figured out what it was.

Yeah it is a dice roll I have talked to many some yep no muss no fuss and then there is others where the results are variable so I give the same warning to every one who has it removed.

10-4. Yeah, I was having issues that came on last year. Pain was getting more and more frequent, and worsening. At one point, pain was so bad, my BP was 158/105 and I was admitted into he hospital.

You know......I think it did. It wasn't bad, but I did have a few times where I had an ache and wasn't sure what was causing it.

Same here that shoulder is jacked up for me any how I thought I just did something to it. Xray tech asked me when he saw the gallbladder clips on the XRAy how long my shoulder hurt before they figured it out... I was like huh ?? LOL He explained when the gall bladder goes into spasm it pushes on a nerve under the rib cage that runs around to the back up and under the shoulder blade hence the ache.

Mine hurt inside. Like when taking a deep breath. A friend of mine said that she felt the same way. Have a meeting with the surgeon next week to make sure everything is Ok.

Yeah The muscle under there gets a little pissy about all the stretching and cutting and such you may find if you stretch just right even years later you will get a twinge from the scar tissue. I still do and I had mine out over 15 years ago.
