Good morning all. Got my first full nights sleep since my knee surgery Wednesday, haven't been able to sleep much even with pain meds. Got a solid 8.5 hours last night! Taking bandages off today, pretty excited to do that and get the area cleaned up.

We have a radio show also. People call in with questions.
Today a lady calls and asks what can she do about squirrels burying peanuts in her flowers. All sorts of idea's except,,, stop feeding the squirrels peanuts

I always feel better after the initial bandages come off after surgery. :notsure: Probably a mind over matter thing for me but whatever works!

8.5 hours of sleep.... That would be awesome, no way our cats would allow it though.

I agree, it's not like anything really changed, well it gets to breathe I guess.

My guess is I was so exhausted I didn't hear my cat, or feel her pawing on my face, which is what she normally does to me at about 430am. I have been getting 4-5 hours of sleep the past few days.

The plus side to this knee deal is I got to miss drill weekend this weekend.

Got one dog to the vet yesterday. Turns out she has a yeast infection in her ear and seasonal allergies. Got flea and tick doses for all 3. Gotta make appointments for the other 2 in time to catch more flea and tick doses, catch up on rabies shots.

They are better for a barn/pasture operation than range. I've seen them slip on tails and had to put on another higher up. People with range operations like to dock/castrate the old way because there's less chance of infection. I had a small flock and barn fed so they were easier to watch.
