Good evening all. Having my first beer in ages, I have to minimize alcohol intake on the blood thinners but it's not a never do it. Work 4-10's so 3 days off and my wife comes home from London Monday so excited for that.

    Cheers

I think my big cup is either 32 or 36 oz so a refill would be perfect. Anymore tea/coffee after around 1330/1400 hrs and I can't go to sleep at night.

I bought mine from them. Follow the link and you can pick what size you want. I keep a straw in mine all the time. Love the size of the bottle (half gallon), love the handle, but hate the fact there's no straw top. Hate the drinking spout cap - hence the straw.

    Happy Anniversary!

I have that but in Silver. I like the RTIC stuff and buy it when on sale, usually ~40%+ off. Have almost a dozen RTIC stickers sitting in a drawer here they keep throwing in with the stuff I get.

not worth it IMO. I have one of hte coolers and its pretty much worthless. 4 day trip last weekend and I was stopping for more ice everyday. apparently the "keeps ice for 10 days" claim is only good in arctic weather and if you never open the lid. 12 hours in a car in 75* weather and ice is gone.

I bought a yeti 40, on sale, and dividend for $150 from REI.
They live up to the hype but I wouldn't pay $300 for it.

I just want a soft side one to take my food to work. But thanks for the tip.

I have an RTIC hard side and soft side and both work extremely well. The hard side is heavier than hell though it will keep birds cold for a week to 10 days. Which cooler do you have? I actually have 2 soft sides and the thinnest is only good for a day or so. More of a lunch type cooler.

I have the 45 in hard side, at times wish I would have got a larger one. But it is heavy enough as it is. Make sure you pre chill and don't use ice, use ice packs.

I bought the Walmart cooler and it works pretty good. The trick is to precool it. I can start with a hot cooler on Monday morning, ice it before I leave the office, drain the water and re-ice it Tuesday morning and then I'm usually good till Friday afternoon and probably Saturday. That's a 36 bottle case of water and 40 lbs of ice Monday to start then 20 to keep it Tuesday morning. If I drain the water on Thursday and re-ice again, it'll have ice in the bottles. The caps will freeze on the inside. Is it 10 days? No. But they are leaps and bounds above the old chests. Plus they are tougher than the old style. The old style I'll go through 40 lbs per day.

You may also try wrapping the chest in a blanket.
