    I have something similar.
    Since my blown up back and resulting surgery, the front part of my right foot has nerve damage.
    Doc said it could go away a week after surgery...or never.
    I guess I ended up with option 2...never.
    Feels funky. Not exactly numb that I don't feel anything, but rather, burns, tingles or itches.Sometimes it feels like ants crawling on my foot. Like nerve damage,lol.
    More annoying than anything else.

    Thats exactually what i feel. the pad of foot and toes burn,tingle, and sting like when you sleep on you arm wrong but pain in the pad of foot where the toes are Hurts to where i limp and and struggle to do 12 hours on concrete.I rarely complain with pain but this sucks.more annoying like you said but last week or so the right foot down rite frickin hurt.
