50+ thread

I got my wife thru gall stone removal surgery tonight. She is still 5 years from this thread but I'm not. All went well but it took way longer to get her home. She is doing great though.

I had endoscopic surgery myself last week but it wasn't as bad. Had trouble swallowing food so had to have my esophagus expanded. They sent in a scope with a bladder to expand it.

It's fun what we get to deal with as we get older.

Ahhhh, got thrown into a shit show yesterday with another electrical issue. Since the other kid had no clue and he is not back till Monday I happened to grab the next ticket in the rack.
Knew I was in trouble putting parts in I knew wouldn’t fix it.
So that’s why I never look forward to Sat (or Sunday) before it gets here.

 

Yea that expanding thing put a vision of those semi truck recovery bags to lift those trucks off things...

 

Basically yeah, that’s how that works, my father had to have it done.

 

Looks great! I did the same marinate the other day with chicken tenders. Makes the neighborhood smell so good!

 

Good morning everyone! Seven point five hours to go for two days off. Gotta get past a PDC meeting today, representing a member who knows better. Attending a local minor league game tonight with friends, watch out beer garden! Invited to a BBQ and Texas holdem get together tomorrow night. Father's day Sunday with my Dad, Brother, my Son and ladies. Love spending time with Dad! Going to be a great weekend! Happy Friday all!

Slept later than usual. (Until sun came up!) Now. Be lazy a while longer, then to the grocery store. Then pack coolers. Finish loading truck. We're headed to "Black Mountain Off Road Adventure Area". Meeting up with a few others who don't know the place...I'm gonna "guide". (Poor people...following me....) Home Sunday morning. Snagged a small cabin at the last minute. Leaving today as soon as my buddy gets off work. My favorite trails. 5 hours from home.

Rain later, hopefully I can get grass cut. Tomorrow I get to go to NW WI for a wedding and spend time with In laws.

When I was at doc office last week for ear problem. I told them it started after I came home from Florida. Both the nurse and doc asked if I was a Snow Bird, I said,
"Do I look that old."

When I went to the dr last year I said I had a similar problem.
She said what is wrong?
I said I keep hearing things I don't want to hear from people I don't want to talk to.
She said I don't have a pill for that.
I like my dr.

 

She dosent know i am on vacation, that is how i have no plans.
