Good day all!! Had my mornin' coffee, feel like wrenching on the truck today, throttle body cleaning and parking brake adjustment today. Maybe even lubing the brake bell housings.
Drivin the taco a couple days now after installing the new carrier bearing, no vibrations. So not a bad job.

So in February I had the beginning of a 2nd root canal from HELL today after 6 hrs of finishing work today I’m almost done....the crown is being made now.

This is the second root canal on this tooth as last doctor totally FUCKED it up by not fixing the margins correctly and sealing the tooth.

Love my Garmin InReach mini. Finally got one last fall for hunting the arrowhead of Mn. Should have done it a long time ago. Good choice  I pair it with the Garmin Fenix. Which is also paired to the Garmin Alpha

Hunting the Iron Range with a compass can be interesting to say the least. And then there is Magnetic Rock.. Cell phone reception is rare getting a 1X signal on your phone is an exciting moment! That doesn't usually last long when it does happen.

Awesome Tim! That is even nicer than my Smoke model, by far. Your girls done good. Well and so did you

We are down to 2 mainframes, had 4 not long ago. And the staff that runs the mainframes is now outsourced. They were given options to go mid range or other jobs most took them.

About 3 years ago had a guy come with a 350 pick me up truck and a large trailer. Filled both with all my computer junk and he ended up paying me for it. Tape drives, SCSI cards some back to 5 MB/s, HP-UX 20" monitor, AT and ATX cases, etc. I don't miss any of it and am well past running servers and any computer equipment I don't need at home.

I remember well reading a technical article that imaging systems would never be cost effective until storage hit a dollar MB. Like that shit will ever happen... Installed and setup a lot of HP SureStore optical jukeboxes back in the day with WORM platters.

Brine them. NOW. 2 cups of water 1/4 cup KOSHER salt and what ever herbs and spices float your boat. And a couple tablespoons of brown sugar. I use maple sugar myself normally. Brine as long as you can up to overnight but 2-4 hours works. Lightly rinse them when you take them out of the brine. Brining helps keep pork from drying out and adds flavors too.

Grill them. Not sure there is any other option. Well there is I smoke them at low temps for an hour or 2 with the snake method and chunks of apple.

then hit them with direct heat to sear and render any fat on the edges.

Cook until internal temperature gets to 145° then foil for a couple of minutes. Works for me anyhow!

    Hey All ,

I am trying to decide on a new grill (PROPANE) Please do not Rake me over the coals or skewer me for being sacrilegious, nor label me a heretic to be crushed under a flat top .:} LOL

My current grill is a Kenmore 3 burner approx 10 yrs old, the grease covers are rotting away, burners are meh on again off again issues with lighting or burning evenly. I have cleaned out the orifices and tubes some of the burner holes are corroded (enlarged) so I think the problem is they are unbalanced on pressure causing the lighting/uneven burning etc. It also has a side burner which I do use on occasion but mostly not the control for it is unreliable ie not maintaining the flame high has been for a couple of years. To replace all the bits and pieces based on age is around 225 plus shipping. Mind I bought it when the kids were young and had friends and parties etc so it really is oversized now.

I have seen several here comment they like their Weber genesis at 449 to 499 for the two models that I have looked at that are sized right for the future. The Weber Genesis II Spirit II E-310 (3 Burner) Or the Weber Genesis II Spirit II E-210 (2 Burner). I am leaning toward the 3 burner for non-direct cooking and physical size, BTU etc .

So I ask the collective those who have a Weber Genesis or some variant of it how do you like them? Do you have the Igrill stuff is it worth anything ? My thought for it would only be for non-direct cooking monitoring.

    So what say you'all :}

    Cypher

P.S. I will not fit in a smoker either so no threating that !!!
