Good Morningfell asleep @20.0 last nite.got way too hot workin on the door yesterday but its up and smooth as glass. 2nd cut on my hay. wasnt that high but full of clover and were drying out fast here. 90’s and no rain. oh and I learned how to torque a torsion spring on a garage door too!

 

No septic inspections here in VA.ive pumped mine a few times and its always in good shape.try to get the wife not to use too many chemicals like bleach that will kill the bacteria in it but thats like talkin to a barn door. lol

 

That should be standard protocol.

Not the shit work but throwing the crap out.

A mental health week, yep that’s just what we are doing. I keep telling myself all the daily work bull crap is just a means to my retirement here. Can’t wait to be able to enjoy this on a daily basis.

my buddy that helped me puts up doors on the side and warned me very sternly about messin with them. and any load carrying bolts are painted red. he drew a line on the spring and counted his cranks. the line on the spring makes a loop every 360* so if you loose count of cranks you can see them. he goes a full 360 for every foot of door then 3 more cranks. locks it down and then we checked the door. he went two more and it was perfect. I hate compressed springs, we handle them at work alot.

 

was sittin in the shop havin a cold one with my neighbor and started laughing out loud. he is like what the heck. i said its an inside joke with a group i talk with on the internet.his comment was you know how to use a computer. bull€%%£.

All the damn rain here ground is soft, really soft. Living down in a ravine surrounded by large oaks not too worried about the oaks splitting, they are solid trees.

Couple of hours ago heard a huge crash sounded like it was on top of me. Went out to the deck and couldn't see the septic drain field, erh backyard. Tree on the other side of the ravine uprooted and pulled out of the ground.



A doe was already browsing on the leaves LOL. About a 20 yard chip shot with the bow... Guess I'll be breaking out the chainsaw. Again.
