    101F tomorrow in Sacramento (dry heat) and the beautiful American River is calling my name already...
    Just put a new rear tire on the Yamaha -- dirt biking in the morning, river swimming in the afternoon, grilling in the evening! What a life!

    I have family there somewhere. My aunt had a house off Fruitridge but she's passed on quite a few years ago. That was the meeting place when mom and dad would pass us off to the other. I didn't mind driving through till they just did the reroute for Hwy 99 to I-5 going north. Screwed up my entire groove.

    Just got back home from VA after enduring typical Friday afternoon traffic nightmare . Semi truck accident on the 10fwy /215fwy interchange that led to reroute to the 15wy NB . This is where all the people heading to Vegas were causing a ugly back up on the Cajon Pass


    VA visit with the Eye Doctor went well , the growth on my r/eye (Pterygium) has not enlarged or has not got worse . Got new glasses ordered with transition lens instead of bifocals and aviator style frame

    Now I'm going to take a nap then head over to the car show at 1700hrs

    It was warm down the Hill today , when I left the VA in Loma Linda it was 102° . When I got back home the breeze was blowing and was only 97° , so much cooler up here !!!!

    its been super windy here too. thought i was gonna lose Runner on the interstate Sunday coming back from camping. Strong crosswind got under the RTT a few times and Runner was leaning pretty good, jumped sideways a few times too.
