When you try to fix a nav system.
The vernacular changes
What is says is not what it is.
What it is, is not what it was.
So friggin frustrating.

Then when you figure that shit out.
You order a new nav box and it’s not a nav box. But you order a radio and it is a nav receiver.
You put the radio/navigation/ coffee maker/ ass wiper, in and it fixes the problem.
One part.
Ye haaaaa.

Then you turn on the radio part to set the radio stations

AND THE FUCKIN RADIO WON’T WORK..

So that starts a whole new shit show.
Starting with me saying I did something wrong.
Then it’s OMG WERE GOING TO GET A BAD SURVEY.

I noticed after all my brake work and driving with cruise control, hitting the brake does nothing and I have to turn it off on cruise button. Caught me by surprise

 

What did you do electrical?

 

Nothing
I did rotors
Drums
Rear bearings and seals
Ujoints
Booster
Mc
Did pedal end play measurements etc

 

Guess I need to check all my sensor connections

 

Dumb question, but do brake lights work?

 

Check brake switch area.
And check brake lights etc

So my wifes away and I've been on the road a few times this week, so the coffee in the pot I made Saturday was still "available" today...it was truly disgusting. I often nuke a day old cup or even two...but 5 days in the pot...well so much for wisdom of the ages.
