    I think it's a lot to do with the time frame they want shit done. I worked on 3 cars at once yesterday with two asm's talking to me at the same time. I'm really tired of everyone wanting things yesterday. And then they want it all for free. Well I have bills too. Let me walk into their work and tell them to do stuff and say btw, all this work is for free.

    Story of my life at work, everyone wants things done yesterday. Not going to happen. Well sometimes I pull off miracles but that gets old after awhile but in some cases have to make it happen. Once they think you can part the Red Sea they expect it every time after that.

    Speaking of which noticed the saggy ass end on the taco has been getting worse lately and soft\spongy. Yesterday finally got some time to crawl under it and look around before my trip to the North Shore and check things out. Oil all over the left rear shock, she sprung a leak someplace. Called the dealer and although it only has 28,000 miles on it my 3 year warranty was up up 20 days ago. I purchased the extended warranty thank goodness. Really debated it normally don't need it with a Toyota so much but for some reason did it with this truck. Because it is a Baja TX it will take awhile to get a replacement shock in and will have to live with it next week on the logging spurs and 2 tracks. I don't fly over them any more and can slow down even a little bit more if I need to. Have to make do with what I got right now and am fine with that.

    Morning all

    Stress and anxiety can take its toll on the body. I started having panic attacks in my 40s and jumped on the meds. It's genetic for me and I watched my Dad and Grandfather suffer through it all their life. I wanted to spend time with the kid, not hiding from the world.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Everyone deals with loss differently. Don't set a timetable and then get upset if it takes longer to process what has happened. My dad dies 15 years ago and I'm still trying to wrap my brain around that. Some people are just that big a part of us that they're hard to let go of. And what I tell my 2 kids.....You may NEVER "get over it", but you can eventually learn to deal with it. And when the time comes, and it will, just let it out....

    Bruce,

    So sorry for your loss. Obviously your sister was greatly loved and will be missed. I won't pretend to know how you feel at this moment, but Mike gave you some good words. Over time you will go through the various stages of grief, though not necessarily in any linear fashion nor on any particular time sequence. You should be the one to determine how you feel and shouldn't think as though you need to bow to the pressure of any other person telling you how you 'should' feel. Even if you ultimately reach acceptance you may experience periods where your grief overwhelms you and the tears and sadness come back. You will have to find a way to live in a new world where 'normal' is redefined, meaning normal is without your sister's physical presence. If you feel tears, depression or grief understand that's ok (and the reverse as well, if you go to back your old normal quickly that's ok too). Hug those you love, laugh when you can, cry if you feel like it. If the depression interferes with your life then I'd suggest you go seek some help, even if you don't feel like it. As social creatures living in a social world we aren't alone and there is no reason you should feel compelled to suffer your burden alone either. There's no shame in telling someone (be it a counselor, close friend, family member, priest, pastor, etc.) that you are having a hard time coping. In time you will learn how to cope, adapt and change to the different situation. You may never forget the grief but time will allow the sting of your loss to become less painful. I wish you and your family well. If you need to speak to someone feel free to pm me, any time.

    Bernie

    good evening everyone got my truck back feel better now. told me they rotated my tires also and the guy didn't enjoy it at almost 90lbs per wheel and tire i bet not. so i told them the tires were only a week old and i hadn't asked for a rotation i was tempted to tell them to pu them back where they had been but they treat me well so no need to be an ass i'll probably switch them back myself

    Brewster;
    I heard someone say a joy shared is a double joy and a burden shared is only half a burden. Tell us some great things about your sister to celbrate her life and memory as well as how you are doing in the midst of this. Best wishes and prayers sent.

    I remember going to a Discount Tire store with a friend in his jeep rockcrawler to get his tires rotated . We wanted to see if they would honor the free rotation which they surprisingly did

    The look on the tire store managers and tire installers face was priceless when they noticed the tires were 42" Super Swamper Boggers . these tires with the 15" wheels weighed just over 225lbs ea
