Good morning. Yesterday was a milestone day. Everything is officially out of mother's apartment and the billing stops! Yeah!

This morning I awoke to lots of rain. And since we had 3 inches a few days ago, my yard has sunk again. The culvert is overflowing, which means it's about 3 feet deep on either side. It won't drain because my neighbor doesn't have a pipe under his driveway. I have to wait till it flows over. Won't be long now.
Don't think the roof crew is coming to finish up today.

Good morning all, 51 here right now and loving it. Stayed home today, somehow split the skin at the base of my big toe and it hurts like hell to put shoes on, no way I am putting on my boots for work.

Not a chance. I tend to roam about in commando mode, and the hair keeps the skeeters out.

It's not coffee, it's some weird caffeine drink from Advocare my wife gets, it's actually pretty good and comes in a bunch of different flavors. It has a bunch of vitamins and stuff that might actually be helpful for a 50+ year old, or in her case a 39 year old. Real coffee will happen later when I get off my ass and go to one of the local roasters after buying some stuff for my foot, not much open at 6am.
