That would have been funny as hell. When much younger we always wanted to get one of the pro Gassers to unload their car about half a mile before the speed trap on 95 just South of Epping,NH (New England Dragway) and run full throttle past the trooper running radar. Would have been an awesome candid camera moment if they could have had a camera on the troop as he looked at the radar unit flashing 180 mph or what ever lol.

I asked my dad (Retired State Trooper) a bunch of years ago what they would have done . His answer nothing pick up the radio and give the best description of the vehicle. Dang police always have Motorola over drive :{ . He did tell me a story of the old radar units ability to pick up aircraft and he used to haze boots with sitting near Logan Airport on the elevated part of RTE 93 and tipping the unit to pick up small planes coming off the runway. Apparently it would pick it up and read some where north of 200 mph before the unit displayed an error.

When I worked AF Rescue Coord Ctr our CG Liaison Officer told me stories of flying H-3 Helos from FL to CA for depot mx; they'd fly the I10 corridor and tune CB freqs on the acft radio to talk to truckers. Then they'd "fly" the helo's shadow down the highway as if it was a vehicle on the road, and watch and listen to the trucker's reactions as their shadow would "pass" them at 100+mph ground speed. CDR Glenn, he was a great guy, he would have got me to changeover to CG if it wouldn't have meant a rank loss when we had kids and couldn't afford the short term pay loss.

Good morning. Went to bed, finished watching the game on tv then stayed awake all night with some kind of acid reflux (though I don't have it). Alarm went off at 0330 and I turned it off. Lost count of the tums I've eaten. Still haven't called in yet. Finally slept off and on between 0400 and 0945 when I got up. We did go out to eat last night and they were clearing their stock so they can start vacation today till the 15th so maybe got something bad though don't have any symptoms of food poisoning. I'm going to go into work and finish up the monthly paperwork after this cup of coffee.

    Oh damn. No bueno.

After recently crossing the barrier and getting that "happy birthday colonoscopy" I think it's time to post here.

    Test follows:

    1. What condiments do you prefer for your hot dogs? Think carefully!

Beef hot dogs get a proprietary mix of mayo, mustard, ketchup, onion, cheese, and Lawry's seasoned salt.
Pork/chicken hot dogs get mustard, fresh onions, and relish.
Brats (first boiled in beer, onion, and garlic, then grilled) get spicy mustard and sauteed onions.
"Veggie Dogs" get the garbage disposal.

    2. What snack cakes Little Debbie’s, Hostess or Drake?!
Debbie has my number, but she's not so little no more. She gets me.

    3. What is your preferred hardware for removing the younglings from the lawn?
Yappy, bitey dogs are effective, but I haven't needed more than a stern glare. Otherwise, .45 ACP.

    4. Dog or Cat? This is not a question about what is on the dinner menu!
Dogs have masters while cats have staff, and I refuse to subjugate myself to a creature that thinks I'm beneath it. We have two canine hooligans who are a curious combination of cuddly cuteness and miniature fluffy death. I'm a proud papa.

    5. Goat Porn?
As long as it's "artful," the goats are all willing participants of lawful age, paid a fair market wage (or are amateurs "doing it for fun"), and were not trafficked across international jurisdictions. European goats are too snobby, and the fainting goats too creepy.

    6. Coffee or Tea? Those are your only choices!
Coffee, in copious quantities. Usually intravenous.

    7. Bacon
    My favorite fruit and vegetable.

    8. Toilet paper rolls, over or under?
What fucking heresy is this shit? OVER!!!

    9. Daylight Savings good or bad?
    Annoying.

    10. How do you like your steak cooked?
1" thick, 7 minutes a side on the grill (at 300-350 degrees). No more than that. In cast iron, 90 seconds a side on medium-high heat, then 14 minutes in a 300 degree oven.
