That's about double what we pay here and we're just across the river. There's a little town called Winterhaven just across (in Ca) that has no gas stations. What they did have are long gone.

Gas stations near the freeways tend to mark prices up because, well, where else will you go?
    And chevron is always higher.

If there is any disruption in the world, the prices jump right away, even though it would take a while for them to feel it.

And how California laws are with gas, sucks.

I’m up in Sacramento not too far from the freeway. Was down in Manteca yesterday. Prices were close to a dollar less.

I'm 90 miles NE of there in the High Desert and gas prices range from $3.31 to $3.89 and along the I-15 towards Las Vegas

I'll tell you guys in a while what ours is. I have to go buy my annual lawn mower fuel supply. An entire 1/2 gallon! I think I'm out of Sta-bil also so it may be pretty pricey.

..locally we are down to $3.79 for reg, last refinery safety updates in april/may had us trending up and over 4.25 for several weeks. looks like i paid $59.95 for 15 gallons in Bishop on 7/15, which i guess is not too bad, considering I paid $4.33 there in May. nice to see reasonable local prices again.
