This would have been a real issue with my dad.

Screw something up and he would let you know.

Dinner at Outback. Not my favorite anyway. Service was the usual s.l.o.w. Server was wanting to tell her life story. Food took forever. Entre BEFORE salad. My filet was good. Wife's sirloin not so much.

    Then $78 check.

I could have crushed the truck with White Castles for $78

Yeah that's the luck I have. If you expand my pix of the sheared pin, it appears to have a rust line indicating a prior fracture.

Shit happens. Some people have stuff that breaks and they don't run it anywhere close to what it should be able to do.

I did. I've been checking the USGS site several times a day.

Also, not sure if any of it is related but I watch the geysers in Yellowstone pretty closely. Steamboat Geyser suddenly sprang back to life last year and has been erupting at least once a week for over a year now. Prior to that I think it has only seen a handful of significant eruptions in the last 50 years. Lately its been averaging an eruption every 4-5 days. Until now. Been almost 10.5 days since last eruption. It slowed down just before the quakes hit here and was due shortly after the swarm of quakes started up here last weekend. Its about 100 miles between the quakes and the geyser but in the grand scheme of things that isn't that far away.

That's one of my favorite local go to's. Have you had their Barrel Crusher IPA?

I have not. I guess that I haven't seen it in the store. How is it?

By the way, the Deep Ellum IPA is currently my favorite.

I think it's the top end of their IPAs but they only do a limited release. Bourbon barrel aged double Rye IPA. A bit potent though at 13% ABV.
