    I hope so too. The guy's demo was really good. I've stopped by his hut at the fair every year for a free courtesy sharpening of whatever was my current EDC. I can use an old school stone, but it takes me a while. I have a tough time keeping the angle correct. These triangle stones set in the base keep the angle correct and they can be set in the base holder on the backside to replicate a stone for fine tuning and sharpening bigger blades, like my little gerber hatchet.

    I have a Case Trapper lock blade I picked up at Sportsman's Warehouse on clearance for $55 several yrs back. Lost the thumb stud in the washing machine when I forgot it in my pocket. It's resigned to letter opening these days; keep it in the desk drawer at home.
    The Buck folder is my current EDC; picked up four (me, both boys, and a pink camo one for Kristi) on clearance at Dick's in FL May 2017 when we were down there for Mitch and Meghen's Disney wedding. Something about a Buck folder that reminds me of my teenage years. :)

    for years I over sharpened my knives. finally learned that a few strokes on a steel brought the edge back to sharp.cause i suck at keepin the angles correct too.

    Almost froze to death last night. First time all summer I've been too cold at night.
    Woke up to dig my down blanket out of the car and put on my fleece over my long johns. Still woke up with cold toes. :laugh:
    Checked the forecast this morning and saw the predicted temps are about 15* cooler than what it was a couple days ago when I packed. Only got one pair of long pants with me.
    This is what I get for not procrastinating ...
