:pccoffee: Good morning all. Cloudy with a projected high temp of 70  today and a chance of showers. Supposedly cooler temps in the 50's and sunshine the next few days. I'll take sunshine at almost any temp over this dreary weather.

This was our Pepper. Border Collie mix we had for 14 years until she got sick and we had to put her to sleep a couple of years ago. As much as I would love another dog, I just don't think I can go through that again.

The almanac says another hard winter here but the weather forecasters say milder because of El Niño.
I would like to see the milder side this year. .........

Good morning everyone. 23 here and another grey day with more snow predicted. Supposed to be a much warmer than normal winter here also. Temps are supposed to be in the 40's by this weekend?! Not taking any chances though I went ordered the LL Bean Baxter State Parka yesterday that I've always wanted. Just like buying a new snowblower that should help keep winter away for awhile.

Good morning all, happy Thursday. Worked till 9 last night and started at 6 this morning just in case something "broke" last night. At least it wasn't an all nighter, I'm getting too old for that crap.

    Agree.
The leadership at my employment is joining our construction meetings this month. They are clueless and would rather not even have to deal with the blue collar element of the business.

Kind of early in the year yet but it is coming, well for some of us. Looks like Canadians get the same meteorological training as the US. In Canada they use Centigrade so +1C is 33F here. Don't think much is lost in the translation though :)

One week of 'cold' weather and the ash tree dropped ALL of it leaves in 2 days. 14491526015771881199204.jpg

Would rather have them do it like that! Most trees here have lost their leaves a month ago, and they take a month to do it. Have a huge willow though that is still hanging on to many of its leaves and they are still dropping, into the snow. Will not be able to clean it up until Spring in the meantime they are falling into the gutters, deck, yard, roof, grhhh. But I do like the shade it gives in the Summer.

x999999999999999999999 my water oaks will be dropping their leaves from a month and a half ago, until Mar!! The last of the leaves will fall when the new buds sprout :annoyed: even though it's a pain, I'll take the summer shade and the slow leaf drop in the winter. Willow oaks are about done and the crape myrtles are mostly done.
