Morning all,

So many conflicting reports... Most pilots, unless they'd personally experienced it in their flying lifetime wouldn't even know what the different is with round engines or warbirds in general! One report I heard this morning was that she actually did touch down on runway 6 on the numbers , then into the tank area... If you look at the map you have to wonder if that is a valid statement. Everyone has a speculation on how or what happened, my sources close to that crew says the PIC and SIC were part of the dead, Flight Eng. survived but is critically injured.. He is probably the ONLY one that can tell us what happened exactly. Thoughts and Prayer from the VAC go to not only the Collins Foundation family, and crew, but the passengers families involved in this tragic loss.

Good Morning

Rain stopped, temps in the 50s today.
Got a text late last night from stepson Chad, their at the hospital. Baby is on his way. We are waiting for news. So it looks like we are going to Minneapolis this weekend. I already have Friday and next Monday off. No bow hunting this weekend.

Ya. I work 2nd shift 2:30 - 10:30.

My day started excellent today! I made it to one stop andthe air dryer on my air system failed and I can’t keep my air pressure up to the correct PSI. Waiting on technicians to come and bail me out. There is a porta potty here that I really need to use. Some jack wagon tipped it over. The DPW came and righted it . But now it is just a little too sketchy for me to use..... ... might haffta though....

 

I need more coffee and Alieve...close to calling in. Back still stiff from yesterday.

 

Time for difficult, but possible with some luck, hover maneuver. Good luck.
