Going to 4.88's will get me back to stock gearing with the 265/75 16 tires . The Detroit Locker will help me on some of the fire roads and 2wd trails . Plus hearing the inside tire on a corner chirping and barking LOL !!

I have been known to say that I live near the West Coast of the Mississippi. Friend of mine in Wi. has his location on another site as West Coast of Wi. Guess I never thought of Iowa as the same, thought it was corn locked :D

just kidding! Rochester has an ear of corn as a water tower hard to tell you're not in Iowa down here. A few grouse and a few pheasants around though. Damn too few.

I have 285s on a 2nd Gen and the gearing isn't bad, but I want to go up to 305 and that will be too much for the stock gears. Just installing a rear locker is much more realistic.

You'll be surprised on how the truck feels and performs with lower gears !!

Can't wait to see how my supercharged 4cyl responds to the gear change

Hey now, we have bean fields too!!

A lot more pheasants around last year and this year too. I actually was able to go out and hunt them again (didn't want to hunt them when the numbers were way down, even though they are a non-native, invasive species). I have been hearing a lot of them yelling this summer too, so I am anxious for the season to start.

Same here, this was just outside of town this spring

Supposed to leave the 26th for SD and hunt with a couple of other retired Navy guys for 2 weeks but now with a ruptured disc and pinched nerve in the lower back not so sure. Likely try it anyhow got drawn for waterfowl there too. Hoping that better living through chemistry (and PT) works!

Great picture. I live out in the country in NE Iowa, so in the winter time, the pheasants will group together and forage. When the snow is deep, they will wait for the turkeys to move on, then go in the holes they have dig to find stuff to eat. Pretty fun to watch and they are beautiful birds.

@Casper66 Good Morning Chris, did you add a fifth TPMS to your new spare Tar and have it programmed it into the ECM?

good morning jim no tpms at all in any of them the stock ones from the steel wheels wouldn't work and I don't think they even had tpms in the '04 tundra wheels I may try to find some aftermarket ones to install but for now I just live with the light

Understand. I would like to add one to the spare but not sure if the monitoring system will accept a Fith sensor on my '14. Thanks for the reply. :)
