Moving slow today, may have over did the fall cleanup thing. Did the neighbors yard again, thankfully she has Maple trees and there just about bare. I have oaks and still pretty full, the White Oaks are the last to drop, they can hang on until March.COFFEE time

 

Can’t ya just mulch them?
I ran 2-10’ ground rods into rock yesterday. Back feels better

Yeah I mulch them, but there so thick you need to empty the bags a lot. If you leave them on the ground you end up with a 2” layer of leaf paste.

Yesterday. Not a fan myself but for those who like it...

 

got nailed on stuff from my youngerdays in camp yesterday.all back at lunch talking and eating. we have a new guy this year with his 6yr old son.in conv. i mentioned the mtn. at our home place. new guy says you know where thats at. yup. he said we hunt the back side at the powerline. i said yup been there before. i asked if he had an uncle named Terry. it was his dad. im like oh crap we worked together 30yrs ago and use to run around.stayed at your gramps camp one weekend in a snow storm. then he Nailed Me. is that when they ran the Bronco off the mtn. i said yes sir i was riding shotgun when we slid off the mtn. he said gramps still gripes about it. i told him his Gramps is a good man just dont tell him you met me, he threw us out and said dont come back. we slid in the bronco so far down the power line and hit a tree head on he had to get a skid loader to come in and get it then tow it to the hardtop as no rollbacks would come back in there. had a good laugh.told him to tell his dad i said hi!reminded him dont mention me to gramps as he knows my dad well

 

Cool story. Always good to hear guys enjoying themselves @ camp young and older.

I did get a good chuckle the other day. Seen (and heard) some lady driving through the grocery store parkinglot with studded tires. As she turned tight to park you could hear them really grabbing.
