    The QTC examiner performing the test couldn't tell me the results but I know myself I couldn't hear any low frequency sounds over my ears ringing . A couple times during the test the examiner looked at me as if to say " you can't hear that sound ?? "

    Even the test with audible spoken words at lower volumes I couldnt hear them . My ears have been ringing for 37yrs since I left the Military . I know being at a Military airbase didnt help much with 24/7/365 flight ops . Also the few times live fired a Ma Duece .50 cal MG or 7.62 M60 MG without hearing protection

    I've got loss in frequency ranges that match perfectly to the equipment we worked. Ironically, when my tinnitus changes frequency I can hear in those ranges just fine.

    My wife says "it's all in your head" but with a wink, knowing that it has to suck to have it constantly.
