    Afternoon Everyone

Just got back from the VA from my Ortho appt this morning . I must have seen 3 surgeons and 2 surgical residents during my visit this morning . I had one surgical resident perform some flexion and lateral stability tests . he felt and I felt a noticeable clunking sensation which indicates an issue with the prosthetic knee joint

He was also concerned over the lack of flexion I've got and lateral pain I'm experiencing . I've got a young persons or sports style prosthetic knee and it is possibly worn out or failed . Between all the surgeons I saw this morning they all agree surgery is needed but need to have a surgical panel discuss my case and what they will do to alleviate the pain , instability and clunking my prosthetic knee is doing . i might be a candidate for an older persons knee

In the mean time I've got surgical work ups to do which includes a CT Scan , Bone scan and blood work

I would like to get my truck re geared and Detroit locker installed before any trail riding

Thanks Chris , it sure will be nice to not be in pain anymore

Can't believe how fast the scheduling for these tests have happened . within the last hour or so I've scheduled both the CT Scan and bone scan .Just hope these scans show some abnormalities of the knee

just what I need to do what I want
Chuck- I understand if you want to re-gear and get locked first, I would like to get bigger tires and regear/locker also but I am sure it would be a chunk-o-change. This is a nice road without any major obstacles, and if we wait until later in the season it will get bad with mud and then later with snow and ice. I am 4WD and have straps, although I have not needed them on this road even when covered in ice.
We can bring Andy,@CVYota , along also, set you in the middle of us and cruise on up to the best burgers around with classic rock and cute waitresses to boot. I also get the whole bad knee possible surgery thing-best wishes with that. Which VA do you go to? If you go in for the surgery I would come by and visit, maybe slip in with some Jack Daniels to help out!:spy::anonymous:

ah bob it is what it is i guess there are some redeeming qualities on the east coast but not much to do around here with a truck other than play in the mud
