    Santa Ana's are blowing very strong this morning and have been since 0300hrs . This is the Strongest winds yet this season with gusts 50 - 70 mph . The wind direction had them pounding my place hard

    i priced a uhaul van between the rental and the mileage was around $400 for a day. i'm going to take the yota and whatever fits is what comes back.

    Santa Ana's still blowing and temps staying in the mid 90's . Still seeing 20-25mph sustained 45-50mph gusts and these strong winds there downed tree branches and palm fronds everywhere

    If you're close to the Cajon Pass or near Waterman canyon the winds are at their strongest . Weather forecasts have extended the Santa Ana winds forecast and fire weather watch now until tomorrow@ 2000 hrs

    Red Flag and high wind warnings ....

    That is how I made it 1500 plus miles ;NH to Florida :cool: My '02 Taco,4x4,2.7 w/automatic did just fine.:thumbsup:

    Then again , we Old Irish pricks know what we are doing :hattip:

    thanks i'll do that tomorrow. i'm getting kinda fed up with all this anyway. then on the way home i had a rear tire blow out on my dd. i made it to one merchants tire where they had the tire but didn't have anybody to put it on. so i drove to my home town and went to the merchants there where i had them put 2 new ones on. the guy was laughing he said i had the 2 tires installed at 104,000 miles the car now has 201,000 miless so 97,000 miles on those tires i can't complain and they had just passed inspection
