Today's plan is to go out to the main CG with the rv dump with the excavator on stand-by. My partner has to change a backflow preventer but the mainline valve before it is frozen and it's on a pvc line. So we're going to to try to stabilize the pipe and see if the valve will break loose. If the pipe breaks we're going to shut it down at a valve further up the line then dig it out and replace it. Of course then all the water will be shut down to everything in that area, so that'll be fun.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning all.

I belong to a gun club and I started shooting trap last year. There’s a group of 4-5 guys that always shoot on Wednesday. These guys are all in their 70’s, retired, and still are great shooters. Wednesday has become a favorite day of the week for me.

Good morning. Up late again last night. Because work. And shoveling snow only had inch and a half not enough to use the blower. Think I actually prefer more snow and using the blower instead of spending more than an hour shoveling. Actually would prefer not knowing the difference..

Good on you and have fun! I used to shoot trap including registered birds in ATA. Because my son liked trap better than skeet and sporting clays. Used to shoot ~10K rounds a year. Now I am back to just skeet and sporting\super sporting\5 stand and down to around 5K rounds a year. But I don't enjoy shooting in the cold anymore. Was a time I would shoot trap in the twenties below zero actual air temp under the lights at night. Have to run heaters in the trap house for the oil in the machines to be warm enough to throw birds. Now it has to be 20's above for me and no wind to shoot but I may shoot skeet Saturday morning, picked up a new old stock Benelli Cordoba for myself for Christmas and haven't even shot it yet. Sold my Joel Etchen Gold E 682\687 custom trap combo last summer. Still can't get all the shotguns in the safe though :anonymous:

Several clubs around me shoot on Wednesdays or Thursdays during the day. Of course they are all retirees and I have taken off work before to shoot with them. They spend a lot of time sitting in the club house drinking coffee and eating doughnuts, and I enjoy the time and company.

    Morning all

Finally got the chainsaw running, 1970s McCulloch.

    Yeah, not so good.

Might have to spend some scratch on a new one. Any suggestions?

    Preferably free.

    That would be Mike

Battery chainsaw and don't look back. Be aware that traditional chainsaw chaps will not protect against them they cut right through the old style chaps. You need chaps specifically made for electric chainsaws.

Uh Oh. For some reason I think there may be images of Andy in chaps coming in the future. And a hat.
