    Mornings
So last weeks meeting I let it be known I was told to remove 2 perfectly fine wheelchair accessible lavatories and they were putting in non accessible vanities for in house remodel.
Yesterday got a workorder to put them back.
Wonder what we’ll talk about today

I'll look around this afternoon on the way back to the airport. This is a quick trip. Drove past the Pima Air and space museum. Wish I had time to stop, it looked pretty cool.

    Good morning.

I put in a week ago to take today off to drive 2.5 hours each way to shoot 5 stand with some friends. Heated, from a train car with windows to shoot out of. They are all retired I am the odd one out. They don't throw targets when it is below 10 degrees. It is -8 with a high of 4 today so it is a no go. Weatherman when I put in for the day off said it was supposed to get up to 20 today. Wrong. Again.

Friend of mine from the North Shore of Lake Superior has been in Sierra Vista since beginning of the month and will be there until the middle of next month. Testing the waters for a place to get out of the cold for awhile this is his first trial run. Tucson is the nearest place to shoot sporting clays they have a course near the trap and skeet club there it is an hour and a half away from Sierra Vista. He still hasn't made it there. Waiting on a report from him when he gets back.

Quail season is open and he has the dogs with him. Couple of days ago he sent me a picture of one of his dogs and a quail with his shotgun and said first Az. quail. I called him and asked how much hunting he has been doing. His reply was only a couple of hours since he has been there. I asked him why only a couple of hours and he said because he is retired. And doesn't have to do a damn thing unless he feels like it. I want to be like Steve.

Wonderful. Big snowstorm. Worked on two trucks and soaked. No Internet. Can’t update an ECU or program a key. Service writer comes out and asked when it will be fixed. Shop was almost minus one service writer

And I just realized, service writer=project manager. We and most places now have damn near as many project managers as we do people to actually do the work. I came close to taking out a few project managers a couple of weeks ago. Everyone of them set the end of the year for project completion deadlines. Every. One. Of. Them. And none of them have any idea of what the actual work involves.
