    Not sure if any of you follow Nascar but tonight's Daytona 500 race and on the last lap Ryan Newman was involved in a very serious accident . Nascar just had a press conference and a Nascar official reported that Ryan is in serious condition with non life threatening injuries

    Off tonight (holiday), did a little review for my HAZMAT recert test this morning at 8AM. Take a couple hours nap, then head to base, try to get on the front edge of the dayshift commuter wave. Have first of two Toyota Care "free" oil changes scheduled for noon. Might hafta kill an hour or so at Cabela's in between.

    I caught the last 30 laps of the race and saw the last lap accident. I’m glad that Rocketman Ryan Newman is alive after that one. I had flashbacks to the crash in 2001 that killed Dale Sr.
