Good weekend here even though we're limiting our outings. Wife went out to the grocery store around mid morning and they had a decent selection of meats. Some of the more pricey stuff but it looked better than a week ago. They even had TP.
Like our little table top grill - perfect for the two of us.

Like X2! One for the Jumbo Joe. Another for the TP score.

Talked to my mother today for more than an hour, long time for both of us she is 83. She told me about when 2 of my Uncles had Polio in 1949 and they put the whole family in quarantine.

They grew their own food for the most part in the flatland down by the crick I remember that field well. Grandpa had a Ford tractor most others had Farmall's. They bought flour at 100 lbs. at a time but had cows, pigs and chickens. For 6 months the whole family could not leave the house and everyone was afraid they would get Polio too like her 2 brothers. She said what the hell is wrong with people now days, and that it really isn't a quarantine, not like it used to be and not that long ago. Said people would drop clothes off at the side of the road for them.

Was a really good talk. Despite her stroke and declining heath I am blessed to still have her.

Mexico only has 250 confirmed cases of COVID-19. One positive side effect is that the number of illegals crossing our southern borders has extremely slowed in recent days.
The last I heard is that Mexicans are now taking it upon themselves to finish building the wall to keep illegals from returning to Mexico :frusty:

Some - Will list later - has lift and new wheels and rubber

Heard this was fakish news - some misinterpretation - the chloro-quine (tonic water additive but higher concentration) was quoted by a bunch in different news streams - they all ended retracting the statement.
The aids virus drug is an immune system suppressor - the virus makes our immune system kick into over, over, over drive and it really damages the body - It is helping with people not being killed by their immune system but does not help with the COVID-19 pneumonia issue

Watch this quick video - gives you a really great rundown on the virus

    TLDR :p

I kid, I think background checks are too computerized these days. Very little interview type actual boots on the ground unless the computer flags something. 1st 2/3 of my total career I'd get calls from friends when they would be interviewed for my clearance renewals. Held TS clearance from 1987 thru 2009...renewed every 5 yrs.
