Thanks for the well wishes. It's not that painful, more of an annoyance. At least part of the pain is knowing I did it to myself, and should have known better!

It's 40+ degrees, sunny and getting warmer. A rare treat in December in this area. Gonna put up some lights on the porch today. Nice slow, easy task that makes the wife happy. Win-win.

    Good morning TW
Loading up the old HiLux for a day of trailing through the forest.
Haven't been out since rifle season started a month ago.
It's warm for a Michigan December, not one flake to be found.
I'm guessing the trails will be but mucky today, should be fun.

Lost a tooth last month, I look wonderful.

Just found out I will be wearing braces to close the space...at 55 I am going to wear braces. My son thinks it is hilarious.

I hate to admit this Andy, but I can't completely fault your son. My youngest would be cracking ALL kinds of jokes. If I complain, my wife reminds me where he gets it from. :anonymous:

You wouldn't catch me laughing. It's been 18 years since I had a root canal on a lower incisor. Only a matter of time until that tooth becomes so brittle it shatters. Then I'll have a lovely gap right in the front of my mouth. Can't wait for that day to come!

Are you getting invisible braces or the good ol' metal ones ?

Yep, the Apple don't fall far from the tree.

Metal, insurance pays for almost half. It will only be on the lower but I don't want a bridge and it is too small for an implant.

Don't use steel shot, just saying... Thank goodness mine that cracked was a molar and didn't need braces to pull the front together. Started out at $1,200 for a crown and when it cracked went down to $400 for an extraction. Went to the dentist on Monday and going back at 0700 on Christmas eve for a crown on the second molar in front of it. Sort of a ladder effect, it started in the back with the problem and now it is working forward. My youngest son is booked from 8:30-12:00 on Christmas eve to start on his teeth. Lots of issues from chemo and bone\teeth. Being a lot younger I hope they can take care of him, he has a lot more chewing and chomping than I have in my future.

My mother has had a lot of dental problems over the years and spent a fortune trying to keep her teeth. Now she says if she could do it all over again she would just have them all extracted. What ever happened to those commercials for denture glues like fixturedent and polygrip? Does make me wonder....

Navy has won every game against Army since I have lived in this house. I joke that after so many years of moving I have only one more move in me, the final end move. Guess I'll be shovelling and blowing snow for awhile yet, but that is only if I am blessed with more time to do so.

Good Sunday Morning 50ers! Sundays in the Fall are awesome! Today, going to my parents' home up in Gettysburg to have mom's lasagna. Sister and her family will be there too. Family, Fall, Football... Fantastic!

Love the Gettysburg area. Haven't been there in years but always enjoyed the history. When I was a kid and even early 20's, used to go camping near there with my parents RV. Can't remember the name of the campground. I do remember it was outside of town up on a hill.

Up late here... first time I can remember the sky not being pitch black when I got up for many weeks. Feeling like a slacker. ;)

Probably Round Top Campground, Chief. Yes, I grew up in the country just outside of Gettysburg. Awesome way to grow up. And when I was in high school, while many of the kids in the world my age were flipping burgers, I was working in a museum running an auditorium show for hundreds of people at a time. Yep, loved growing up there and still love going back. Except in the high-tourist months... I tend to stay out of town from May thru September.

    Good morning 50's people.
Nice to see everyone up and about.
A little decorating this am and lunch with family.
Moving a little junk so the electrician can est. my gen install.
ThIs weather is totally awesome. 40's and 50's. Heard some bikes out and about.
Came this close () to pulling out mine .
A lot different than last year. Putting the JD tractor through its paces at thanksgiving and not stopping was a long season.
Having coffee with the wife and just slowly starting to get motivated.
    Observations:
Route canals are temp before the tooth explodes into 12 pieces. I have 3. One broke but my dentist is magic with duct tape and bailing wire.
Your kids will help you but you need to ask. I'm so Independent and yada yada... :).
You never stop helping them without question.
    Enjoy the day.....
