    Update... I misunderstood my wife, who was on-site with the tree guys... Most of the tree gets to stay. Removing the dead branches from this one, and topping a couple of others on the other side of the house. But the price was $4K.

    Normally I would say 4k is a lot, but I have had that done here and it was about that. I don't agree with topping trees unless they are under powerlines. they never look right.
