doesn't take much for folks to go from protecting the earth to a "save me" mentality.

    Hanging in there.
Work switched to 4 10's so that the guys still in the shop have one less day potentially exposed to the crud. Not sure it's gonna work for me because I usually finish my work in 6 or 7 hours every day. Thinking of digging the camping gear out if I'm gonna have 3 days weekends now...not sure where I'll go but it's better than sitting at home all the time.
I take it no MT trip for you guys this summer?

    Sounds like a good plan.

No, it’s not looking like it :( We had so many things set up too. We had two construction guys who we were going to talk with. One we met when we were up in December and he showed us around his newest project. I liked him (worked in construction and then started his own business, from the area, young family guy) and wanted to start setting some things in motion possibly. The other was a recommendation from my neighbor. He did some work for them.
I’m also trying to research architects in the vicinity.
Maybe if things are back to somewhat normal we can make it up in July? I don’t know what my work will be like, don’t know if they’ll finish the last couple of episodes of the show I was doing or if the pilot I was gonna work on will be done. Heck, I don’t even know if the show I was on is coming back.
Probably more than you wanted to know....sorry.

    Good evening.
    Ate dinner
Crashed out at 1800 watching tv.
Moved to the rack, knocked back out for another hour. Need to get back to it.

Finding "escapees" out in the desert now. Someone posted somewhere it's safe, it's free and stay as long as you want. Guess again. One guy I work with found a couple from Seattle that just got here. What in the actual fuck is going on here?! STAY YOUR ASSES IN YOUR HOME STATE!

    Morning

    Big YEP Bill

Starting to think I'm not the GOB I thought I was. Or maybe I just want to choose who I'm around. This routine is wearing thin. I miss going out to the cabin with Danny on my days off. I know I gotta do what's right and I will, but ugh. At least I still got my buddy Bear.
Pay me no mind, just random neural firings as I sit here alone at work.

    Be safe, stay calm. :hattip:

    Good Morning Folks :hattip:

    Not being political
Wisconsin is going ahead with the election voting today. A lot of poll workers are not helping out. So there are fewer polling locations and the National Guard is helping out. I'm glad we mailed in our ballots last week. Because of all the mail in ballots, results won't be announced until April 13th
    Again, not being political.
    Safety and common sense people.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning.

Option at work for high risk employees is to stay home and receive 75% pay through June. There’s 22 of us in the department and 5-6 guys that would check several boxes for high risk. Not sure if they’ll take it.

Stay safe and enjoy the day!

Unfortunately common sense, and fairness go out the window when politics are involved. We need more of the “Golden Rule “ being used.

its not 80 here but the weather is getting nicer and i've been doing the isolation thing for over three weeks now. working from home, maybe one day a week just going for a little drive after work. Toy hasn't been out of the garage in close to two weeks. i can definitely sympathize with ya - at least a little bit.
