Another work announcement today. 2 more positive cases today. No work tomorrow and they are contemplating what to do next with work schedules.

 

we have a cross wrapped in chicken wire and everyone puts flowers on it for Easter, then we carry it out at the end of service. this year they put it out front and people could drive by and add flowers this week. i think its the prettiest one weve had.

 

Ham is in the oven, potatoes on to boil. Time for a load of whites in the washer.

 

Green bean casserole in the oven, chicken in the smoker. Christie miserable all day because we aren’t all at her sisters and listening to a bunch of screaming kids. Other than my daughters aren’t here best Easter EVER

A few more hours to go on her but at least she is respectable now.

 

Nice looking Jeep. I thought about pulling the top off mine for a while then looked into it. What a pita! Eventually I'd like to put the half cab on mine. Still a pain and somewhat of a commitment but it would do what I want better most of the time. But it's still nice having a weather proof and secure full top right now.

 

Carol told you today no eyelashes....

 

It is a process to remove.

If this shit calms down and we can back to somewhat normal, I take the top and doors off in the summer. She runs the corolla if it might rain.
But like everything else it’s on hold..

 

Just got a call from one of my guys. His house got tore up by a tornado that just went through Mississippi. He is rolling back home from W Texas as we speak. Man, it is always something. All his family are good, just a lot of damage.

Scrapple and eggs for brunch this morning. Think I have one more package of scrapple left in the freezer from Pa.



Good thing it was a hearty breakfast. Put a wagyu beef arm roast on the kettle this morning to smoke.



Going to be a late meal this evening. The struggle is real.



Cold and snow are bad enough but the 40+ mph are sucking the heat off it pretty fast. Supposed to be a foot of snow by morning and no sign of a plow all day. One way to make people stay in place but I have no plans to go anywhere.

 

The food part I like
The weather part I don't like.
So far this storm is missing us. They say we might get 1 in snow. Windy tomorrow.

 

We are getting hammered tomorrow. Thousands still without power and this coming through.
Not going to be fun..
