Got a tad bit of snow last night. Not enough to cover the grass. Now it's just windy.

Morning all. What a show here @ work this am. Managers and admin can't make a decision on protocol to working. We are required to take our temp twice a day before and middle of shift and record which is fine. Six feet apart @ all times but some jobs are two man so.... Director of PP resigned two weeks ago, he only had about two years in. They have this so screwed up like only the State can. Praying we all have a job when this time passes....

 

The guidelines I received from work.
"The company will only record the screening results if you are determined to have a fever or provide a variant response to the questions asked by the Entry Screener and are sent home. We will treat those results as confidential employees medical information."

 

Dollar Tree has a 15-pack of ties for...wait for it...$1. I picked those up and have been using them. Since my masks cover the whole face, I just slip the hair tie around the ear and connect the velcro strap around my neck.

There's evidence that they do. The weave is insanely tight. I made accordion masks for my wife and MIL who don't like the full-face ones.

I'm also using Dollar Tree floral wire across the bridge of the nose to keep the mask tight to the face - works great.

I made 4 more over the weekend and used up the rest of that yard of fabric.

 

This is the mask all laid out.



Anything I would touch is covered, and I usually have glasses on too. Adding safety glasses as there is some solid evidence that you can get infected through the mucosal membrane of the eye.

Smart a$$ took a pic and sent it to the oldest; My daughters comment-"Mom should get sick more often"

We did spend Easter with some good people; triage nurses & doctors ..... Con's symptoms got sketchy and we got marching orders for the "Urgent care"....

They have their act together BUT still scary watching your bride be escorted from one tent to another... End result was a test kit and quietly waiting for results.......... They did tells us there is "other crud" going around and they did switch up her meds BUT under DR's orders we are still sitting home for the 2 weeks..

Life will move along and We will get through this......
