I have many scars on my truck that I have caused out of stupidity and they are constant reminders of the mistakes I have made.

My favorite was the lesson I learned about opening the car door when you use a high lift.
Car went sideways and the high lift went into the door.

Sorry to make it look like I was actually lecturing you. I wouldn't do that.

45 years of handling hot stuff makes them not very sensitive
And not much in the way of fingerprints either

 

I see so many people wearing the cheap cloth masks, homemade masks, bandana's etc and that's just a false sense of security, that's no different than pulling your tee shirt up over your face.
Early on the CDC said that those cloth masks didn't work, but two weeks later after everybody started hoarding the N95 masks (which are actually very common at hardware stores),
they changed their stance and said that people should at least wear something, but save the N95's for medical personnel. The reality is, if those cloth masks provided any real protection
then hospital workers wouldn't be complaining about not having proper safety equipment, and they would also be using the cheap washable masks.
I'm a hardwood flooring contractor and I've been using the N95 masks for decades, what makes them different is that they're made with a static charge that helps particulates stick to the fabric.
They've been looking into ways to sterilizing the N95 masks so they could be re-used, but if you wet them with water or alcohol it removes the static charge and it drastically lessons the effectiveness.
The last I heard they were testing UV lighting as a way to sterilize them, but I don't think they've figured it out yet..

I think it may have a lot to do with coughing and sneezing.
Reducing the projectile. I use various masks but I use It mainly to keep me from touching my face.
I’m a bad face toucher. I now spray the interior if I’m working on it.

 

It's kind of like religion.. you read the information but ultimately everybody is their own moderator and come up with their own plan of action that makes them feel safe.

 

It is to slow down the spread, not stop it. I spit when I talk so it is better for others that I wear a mask.
