    The last time I went through Vallejo I was heart broken. All that old Navy housing turned into one big ghetto slum since the base closed. It use to be so nice through there.

    Over time is when you take home 1/3 the amount they pay you for working beyond the 40 hr week. The other 2/3 goes to funding frivolous government programs (i.e. taxes).

    I got some answers on the bed...just not convinced the answers went deep enough. I still see threads for 1st gen Tacomas separated by years so I'm thinking there were changes prior to generation revamps. I see 95 thru 97, 98 thru 2000, 2001 thru 2005 mostly.

    I used to change front axle stubs alongside the trail while off roading . I would also carry spare front and rear axleshafts just in case the (4) fuses aka Warn "gold" premium hubs didnt pop saving the axles

    1995 - 2004 is first gen (did have a couple facelift items in those years). 2005 - 2015 is second gens, 2016 third gen. Bed changed to the composite in 2005 with the second gens.

    I heard that, too.
