    well weed eater took a shit. pull start locked up and all jacked up. no fixie. go to searsoutlet where i got it-no luck out of biz for most part. i got 3 years out of it. :censored: so front is half edged . like to keep same brand-craftsman 31cc because of extras i have, time to look for one NOW:censored::censored:

    A few years back I replaced mine with a Stihl battery unit. I’ll never buy a gas one again. Pricey but works great. Also have a pole hedge trimmer - uses the same battery.

    those Stihl battery powered are awsome. When trail riding Big Jim carrys one of the chain saws. lite weight and cuts great to open up down logs on the trail the first trip and says the weedeater will do his place on one battery

    That's kind of a wimpy way. You should install a PTO on the truck and use that to start the weed eater.

    The old tractor at grandads had a hand crank you stuck in the front and handcranked. dad never would let me do it in case it stuck when the motor took.

    I think the Craftsman is just a Troy built so any of those attachments will work with Cub Cadet too... It's nice, I had some gift cards the kids got me for Christmas so it was on sale and my cards and I needed one anyway... I use all my TroyBuilt attachments on it..

    They actually make a little rechargeable starter motor, smaller and not as heavy as my Dewalt drill but hey what can I say, my shoulders love me not pulling them out of shape!!
