Neighbor "hooked" a tarpon and that fish went and wrapped the poor guys line around Crab trap buoys down line..... fish would come outta the water just to show who's boss :p and then you could watch the 2 buoys get closer together....Poor Dave had to finally "cut his line"

Made it home. Camper did great. Chebby....well... Not so great. He picked up a souvenir on the way home in the form of a bolt in the rear driver's tire. :( Nothing I can do about it today so I just have the camper up on its jacks to take the weight off the truck. I'll get it fixed at the tire shop tomorrow. Now off for a much needed shower.

    Yeaaa.
Agm batteries need slower charge to peak.

I can see a agm for the car if it’s going to be tracked
But nothing special for the truck..

Pretending to be a plumber day two is just as much fun as yesterday. lots of stopping and waiting for parts to cool. I'm also desoldering and reusing what I can since 1 inch copper is expensive. I also took apart the brass threaded fittings, cleaned them and soldered them since I dont have a need to unscrew them. Less of a chance of them leaking as well.

I'm a little more than half done but its getting hot in the garage.

The Tacoma's battery was replaced 2 yrs ago by Autoclub with another one of their batteries . Last year I had it serviced at a Toyota dealership and they tested the battery it was at 75% charge

The Camaro has always had Optima Red tops but the last two batteries lasted only 3 years ea .The current Red top is having issues with starting like it doesn't have enough amps

It is charged weekly with a battery Tender plus 12v-1.25amp ( designed for AGM batteries)

They start 3000 hp cars with one battery so a good 800 to 1000 cca battery with good cables
And the correct ignition lead should crank right up.
If not you can always put a hand crank on it..

    Odyssey’s are fine..

    What a great day!

    I could use a 4th but don't really need one. Ruger GP100 and a pair of S&W's.

Do miss my Dan Wesson, should have never got rid of it.

Chipmunks have caused a lot of damage around here, and red squirrels. They don't get a pass from me for any reason. Ironically after years of living for deer hunting now I shoot them from the deck. With a camera.

Caught this one right after mama dropped it 2 years ago

Now I don't have to drag the damn things out of the woods after I shoot them :p

Still not quite done with the plumbing project. I couldn't get the threads on either end of the UV light to stop heavy dripping. It must be the difference between the stainless threads and the copper. I used multiple turns of the pink teflon tape and T to 2 but it kept leaking. Any more torque and I might bust it.

I let it run long enough for my wife to catch up on dishes and for both of us to get a shower. I shut it down and drained it before any damage to the wall from the spray. I looked it up and it's no problem to solder copper to stainless steel so I will clean out the threads and solder it like I did with the brass threaded fittings.

I was just too wiped out to finish it tonight. I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 2am. It will be worth it at the end.
