I love this! A new Ruger (my Fav) with sentimental value attached! You will smile every time it's in your hand. Love good news like this, thanks for sharing!

Early one was probably made a few miles from where I sit.
Growing up, a lot of friends had family working at the Southport facility.
Ruger's original "garage shop" is still standing in Southport center.

Made a early trip to Fleet Farm. Kinda busy for early sunday. Guess nobody goes to church anymore.
Menards is making people wear face masks now,. Yesterday the police were called to Menards because of a customer didn't want to put a mask on and was causing trouble.

@TK-422 Yesterday must have been the day for projects to go to crap day. Had several on my list for yesterday. First was replace kitchen faucet. Had old removed, cleaned up mounting surface, mounted new. Was working inside cabinet connecting water lines. Brushed up against old metal trap and downspout, heard a small cracking noise. Water started running out trap. Curse words started as well (sorry to God). Old metal was paper thin. I had been planning on replacing drain plumbing, just not yesterday. So lost an hour or so running to Lowes for parts. Not a difficult repair, just had other things to do for the day. Plumbing always seems to have the unexpected happen. Solidifies my choice in trades years back! Happy Sunday all!

Even more "tug on heartstrings"...

Remember I spent over half my life up there in New England and that name to hand guns is like Henry to long guns ...

Dad had me onto .177 and co2 .22 quickly when he caught me "Rifleman'n" the Daisey's.... BB's were clinky BUT I was taught early to respect every shot BEFORE it left the barrel :eek:

Then we moved onto the 12 gauge; single shot and "kick like a mule"....BUT I quickly learned my go to "varmit" gun.... Dad made his reloads and let us say :D they never waivered...

Ok, I will not travel too far down memory road today..... $hit, almost feel like calling my younger brothers :lalala:

Old Man going back quiet :hattip:

Con & baby sister were "talking the church" thing this AM.... no mass's except on "line" for a bit...:notsure:

Sadly tensions are building everywhere :(.... We went to the Post Office downtown and folks are either in "ghost buster" gear or nothing at all.... and then the "stare downs" remind me of kindergarten :lalala::smack:

Downtown FT. Myers is trying BUT this week alone two more business's pulled the plug and will not be back.....o_O:boom:We will not see an outside Art Event until possibly December if not 2021....

Down time is creating an "artistic touch" for our 2nd coloring book....BUT which way do I push... Con the Artist or Con, the Baker...

OK, back to my distractions':p Riva' has Tarpon playing ; 'Lil fishies must be running and manatees have cruised on by twice.... next up will be dolphins...

    Riva' Life :hattip:

Training my chipmunk to eat out of my hand. You can see my birdfeeders in the back. I have gotten him from there to deck, and getting him used to thinking I am sitting there.
