I can semi understand some of the younger generations issues, I think part of it is the fact that companies aren't loyal to their workers. As fast as the company can screw the workers, they do. Shoot, ask half the guys in here what the companies are doing/have done.

thought I had them..... but was short a few. plus needed nuts for the rotating wheel "axels"

Might be going to see the boys this weekend.... won't be able to get any hugs, but will be able to see them.

    night all

When I was in Western NC it surprised me how many streams that were trailings for mininig companies and they had to pay restitution to clean them up went with Muskies. No way they could make it down South... Yeah they did big time

There was a 6 footer under the bridge in Asheville, NC on the French Broad. No one ever caught it that I know of. 1,000 casts per muskie may not be out of line. But a white lab rat with a treble hook tied to it sitting a cedar shake shingle pushed into the back eddy and then pulled off it struggling, just saying :anonymous:

When I retied from the Navy more than 25 years ago worked most all the vertical markets as a consultant. Was in the days of Business process re-engineering and Dilbert, the cartoons were spot on even my oldest son loved them. One of his favorite which I now have in the reloading room

My father was a truck driver and my grandfather a mechanic, watched the whole progression a long time ago in the industry. Used to have some heated discussions back in the day and grew up around it.

Where I work for the last 20 years the needs of the patient come first, period it is pounded into us. Kind of like the military where I retired from so can accept it and actually like it. No regrets. Pay cut, furlough without pay sucks. And hours are unreal since this crap started, will ease up on the 12th at least think it will for me. But have to keep the lights on too at all costs.

And the needs of the patient come first. Period.

People in NC thought I was crazy to move to Mn. No regrets. Well except when winter comes around, it makes Upstate NY\Pa. look kind of cozy in comparison LOL.

But not all verticals are bad. And thank Gawd there are still drivers out there delivering.

It took three full days and three trips to Lowes but I finally got my water conditioning system up and running with no leaks. I still need to make a frame to strap tight the water tanks and make a cover where I opened up the wall but the plumbing is done. What a PITA that turned out to be.

Yes, once a year or so I will have to change out the carbon in tank 1. I can keep the water running since its a few days process to change, wash, 48 hour soak and wash again the active carbon media.

I can also easily isolate the area around the blue pre-filer, de-pressurize the area and change filter in just a few minutes without making a huge mess.

There are also water pressure gauges before and after the tanks. If the pressure drops on the second one but not the first it's time to change the carbon.
