    Yeah, a lot of the production from China is being checked for quality and failing. Ie no where near N95 specifications. When will we learn?

    Well, if you look at the cover it converts 250 down to around 14. To charge the battery and run the 12 volt systems.

    Your head light would be bright as hell with 250 volts going through them.

    Most of the new alternators are CPU controlled now as well, so you cant just add another battery to your vehicle via a relay isolator and have your alternator charge it. You need a DC to DC convertor with a charger component to it suited for your additional battery to protect the smart alternator and your existing battery.
