Going to take a drive over to my old hometown today. Taking some flowers to the cemetery and visit Mom and Dad. Dad was an army vet and today is Moms birthday.

My friend texted me yesterday and said they just crossed into Idaho. Said it was pretty cool weather up there (ice/rain mix, a little snow).

thankfully hot air rises and my bed is in the cabover...nice and cozy in my bed nest right now!

currently 31, waiting for the sun to crest the mountains.
I know the peaks around me got snowed on Thursday night. Drove over one pass yesterday and it looked like fresh snow there too.
What part of ID they in?

Not sure I'm going to get to work on the cart till next weekend. Tracked the shipments and they both made it to Phoenix. FedEx might deliver today because that one was on it's way at 4 am but that is just some paper stuff. The other shipper is CFL, never had anything hauled by them before so not sure what's going to happen with them but I'd suspect I'll probably get that one Tuesday.

Someone has got a "Project" brewing

I hope yours goes smoother than mine....:(

I courageously "tried to tackle" the bay window seat .....:censored::censored::censored:.... Rough carpentry and repair took a better part of 4 hours plus Con called in reinforcements :rofl::rofl::rofl:... Stephen & a friend took over inside while I saved my outside protective sheet metal pan :welder: My biggest obstacle to finishing this :boink:.... My Wife now has a "clean slate" for Ideas .... not going to spend $$$$ as this whole unit will be replaced before "Retirement" :D , either new bay window or a slider with a small walkout..... neither requires "permission" as the walkout will not intrude any further than the current wall unit AC ;)....

Ok, everyone get out there and enjoy the Day :hattip:

I thoroughly enjoy when I don't think everything totally through or forget the idea I had when I did. Just went out and pulled a tape measure (again...measure multiple times, cut once). Seen the space I need and the space I have left..."shit! Oh, ok, forgot I was adding a fold down shelf". I have some really interesting conversations with myself. If something doesn't go right I blame the closest dog then fix my screw up. Then the dog gets a treat.

Con walked back into the house "Mid-project" and went on to ask about covering things & I quickly reminded her who I purchased the vacuum cleaner for :D
She quickly went back out to her studio :fistbump: and called my son to GTF over here :devil::devil:....
