Made breakfast outside on the Blackstone.
It's been one of best gifts I ever gotten. It was my gift from work for 25 years.

I’m done for the day..
Real feel like 100° and humidity and with Mainers that’s like 125....
So I did good this morning.
I started my cabinet doors and pleased how they are coming.

Was trying to find ways to build them with good even edges.
So came up with a few cheats.

I built the doors from the inside out.

So I used nails as spacers around the perimeter.

Then I did what I called “blind nailing”.
I used small finish nails and pounded them in and then cut the heads off.
I lined up the bracing and pounded them on to the cabinet opening.



Then I cut my ply and attached it to the bracing.
Then I popped the assembly off, and added the top and bottom bracing.



I routed the ply edges and installed the hinges
Then installed the door.




So this went so good I did the other side again with nail spacing
And etc etc..

Real pleased.



So when I done with all 4 I need to decide on a latching system.
No idea which way to go as of yet.

I may sand and use a few coats of poly to seal the ply so it won’t splinter.
Again not sure..

Good evening! Took the Solstice to work last night! Seemed like everyone wanted to race! Pulled up next to a cab and he wanted to have stereo wars. Sol has a fairly good sound system!
