    Good morning all, slept in a s well (0630) but what a beautiful morning, 53 when we walked this morning. No rain or severe weather today - it returns tomorrow.

    Have a great day everyone - be safe and calm - we can only control what we do heck with others. Our state has gone to mandatory mask in public but our county sheriff said his deputies will NOT enforce it - I will continue to wear one as I have since March.

    Currently 84° clear , High 95 and gusty winds from the South by this afternoon . Sitting outside on my front patio enjoying my coffee

    Busy night last night , about 1900hrs I decided to go outside in my garage and clean it up some . Which lead to cleaning an reorganizing my tools in my tool box . Then seeing my fiberglass hood for the Camaro laying against the wall of the garage I decided to see if it still would fit

    To my amazement the hood just barely clears the air cleaner and the hood pins are still easily accessible . Now my question to you guys , I want to paint it but the hood is very lightweight gel coat fiberglass

    Does anyone here work in a body shop and know anything about painting lightweight fiberglass and the cost to do so

    It’s just like painting any other body panel. You can add a flex agent to it if so desired. A good urathane paint should flex with the hood

    I just looked at my weather station at my house. It’s 90F right now. But a nice 77F at the elbow of the Cape with a nice breeze off of the Atlantic (1/4 mile to the East). :D
