I guess that's why we use dispersed camping when at all possible.

nah. using the day wisely - got an appointment at 4 for Chebby to get a rotate and balance done and Toy is going in at 1 for oil and coolant changes. been cleaning house in the meantime - kitchen is scrubbed top to bottom, bathroom too. got laundry going and working on the living room now.
i try to usually but like I said, its been so insanely busy up here that most of the good dispersed camping is overrun. at least with campgrounds there's some limit to the number of people. I think I'll be sticking to campgrounds with hosts for the rest of the summer - things get out of hand its their job to deal with it.

I can appreciate that. There are some advantages. Around San Diego sites cost ~$40 with "registration fees". Crazy. On a good day I can get a hotel for $50.

:annoyed: boss texted me at 1230 saying the power was back on, could i work the rest of the day. sure....about that...on my way out the door with one truck, coming home and getting the other and I don't expect to be home before 5. oh. told him i'd work tonight. had a bit of a lull between appointments so I try to sign in. only 1 server is working. IT guy cant figure out the issue with the other one. i had to leave again. come back and now neither of them are working. wtf? you're supposed to make it better not worse!!! new it guy too, trying to be patient with him. just texted my boss, told him i give up. today just sucks.

on the plus side Toy has new oils and new coolants and Chebby got his tires switched around.

so frustrating. what makes it worse is that everyone is expected to make up the lost hours on friday....i have thursday off and was planning on leaving for the weekend after work wednesday  oh, well....nothing i can do.

also, noticed there's been a swarm of over 70 quakes in Idaho in the last week. Same area that had the big quake in March.

    Evening all :hattip:

Just got back home after getting my truck cleaned up and having a new Ceramic coating applied . It now has a very deep glossy shine

Also started the Camaro up after sitting in the garage for 3weeks and let it idle until it got up to temp , still to warm outside to enjoy driving it . Had quite a few kids and adults listening to my Camaro and commenting on how awesome it sounds

Prep is the worst part. Not that a 5 foot cable stuck up the butt is a party

I always put something along the lines of "local sales only, cash" otherwise you get some crazy responses. And always opt for emails to be routed thru CL.
I've sold a few things including my Subaru years ago and Runner last year. No issues.

Thanks, that helps. I did not say anything about local sales only, but dang it, will see what shakes out.

I remember the first time my mom tried to sell something on CL. I had warned her to do the same and mention local sales and cash only. She didn't. Had people wanting to do wire transfers from a bank in Uzbekistan or some crap. She was freaked out. Told here just dont reply to the emails at all, delete them.
Next time she needed to sell something I made the ad and acted like it was me selling it whenever there was a reply. Had the damn thing sold, full asking price, in a day. Not a single weirdo or scammer.
