    I was only there one time, while the fleet was out. I flew to Subic to do training for a minesweeper during the first Gulf war. Training equipment got hung up in Customs, and I had to wait for 6 weeks to do one week of training. So 7 weeks in Subic, with nothing to do for 6 except, make a call and check on the gear. What a time I had!
