Thanks all, at 95 she has had a long life, and she may last longer, the last few days have been up and down for her. So we don't know.

Good morning friends. Busy day today. First a half day of work followed by a couple of meetings for my executor duties on my father’s estate.

That's something you're going to have to figure out. If you've been in low cost index funds for 20+ years, you are probably in a good place towards your retirement financial goals.

I agree with you on the stock picks. You'd be amazed at how diverse a stock portfolio can be when you sit down and think of 10-15-20 companies that you spend money with. "Buy what you know" was a piece of advice I got from an old timer that looked like he didn't have a pot to piss in, but was a millionaire several times over.

"How does yours help you?"
Well, the FA that graduated last in his class could have made money in 2018 & 2019. It's years like this one with a good, competent FA that'll keep you on track. Again, communicate your goals/plans with the FA. You both have to be aiming for the same target.

Of course, I also say that "I'm working until lunch on the day of my funeral", so this is all just a waste of time/money...
