Its dry enough that it isn't a worry.
This is from the Mojave road. The dry lakebed wasn't too dry, I slogged through the mud then did a couple of river crossings. I cleaned the truck, or so I thought. I missed the spots that turned to rust.

 

Cat got in my chair again.

I asked the tow guy (know him from driving with him) what happened.

I laughed and I said awesome, I’ll get my brake job now.
The Bitch was behind the truck.
Cost her a 4 wheel brake job, 2 calipers, and a trip to the body shop.
It was a good day....

 

Just to give you some perspective From 16 years old to 18 I worked in an auto shop for my girlfriends father.

I started out just sweeping floors and cleaning up but I did have experience working on vehicles and her dad who owned the company soon figured out I knew what I was doing even at that early age.

He let me start by rebuilding my own engine in shop before I worked on customer vehicles but that made a huge influence on what I can do today.

I was good enough to rebuild engines on my own and do pretty much any anything at that point.

That was before any certificates were required.

I went a different direction years later to computers that don't have the same physical requirements on the body.

In either occupation you have the same things you have to deal with.

owners/users that have no idea what they are doing.

owners/users that do not want to pay a fair price to have it fixed.

owners/users that think they know all but don't.
