If you are happy and stress level is low stay where you are. Many companies will do a bait and switch to get employees. Like change your hours, days worked, weekends due to operational needs. Just my 2 cents.

Later this Morning I've got a Telephone Doctor's appointment with my Primary care physician at the VA

Well I just got a call from my Neurologist regarding my recent MRI study of my brain and cervical spine . He told me there's no signs of damage to the brain from either MS or Parkinson's but there is a cyst showing but looks to be congenital and causing no health risks

However during the scan of my Cervical spine he noticed one of the vertebrae are pinching / compressing my spinal column . This finding is concerning my Doctor and told me this is possibly causing the weakness and tremors I'm experiencing . He's referring me back to ortho for a surgical consult and examination . Also a consult for Physical therapy for my neck

My Neurosurgeon does however want me to have another brain MRI in 6 months to continue to monitor any progression of neurological deficits . He mentioned the exposure of Aircraft cleaning solvents or TCE / PCE i was exposed to can still cause a health risk

I'm still waiting on my Primary care provider to give me a phone call

 

That TCE was some nasty stuff. Small shot at an electrical contact gave you a buzz. Wishing the best.

I was using Aircraft cleaning solvent which was TCE/PCE solvent in my armory cleaning and repairing firearms in the Military . The solvent ate away at my BDU's and left orange stains on my skin

Also MCAS El Toro was contaminated very bad from TCE /PCE and the main source of the contamination was the hangars 296-297 at my Squadrons headquarters MWSG-37 . I was there every morning before heading to my Armory

The TCE/PCE exposure affected Military personnel and civilians from 1947 until the base closed in 1999 . Now construction crews that have been tearing down the base are now suffering from chemical exposure from TCE /PCE

 

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. The good news, I talked to my boss and the positive person was not who I had contact with. I took the test anyway. Very easy. I spent more time driving thru cones than stabbing my skull. I will get results within 24 hours.

 

Just got done talking with my Primary care provider at the VA and he mentioned the same results of my MRI study as my Neurologist told me . He also told me all my recent labs I did a few months ago all came back normal . He also sent referrals to Ortho and Physical therapy

 

It sucks that you were a casualty of things they didn't know back then. Its all around. I grew up listening to Rocketdyne testing Saturn V and space shuttle engines in the hills over Simi Valley. Now its contaminated. We have a 1000 acre site in the center of Santa Clarita that was a weapons testing and manufacturing area. They expect to have the ground cleaned up soon but the ground water will take another 20 years to clean up.
