Hey there everyone.

Well the guy I work with tested positive for Covid (he’s tested everyday). Negative on Friday, positive on Monday, negative on Tuesday, inconclusive on Wednesday.

They gave all of us who were in contact with him a rapid test and they all came back negative. Then we all got our brains probed for the PCR test and mine came back negative again.

All that being said, I have to quarantine for 14 days which would have me returning at Thanksgiving....sooooo long story short I’m off until the beginning of December.

Good, been busy with fall cleanup. Looking forward to retirement in a couple of years.

That’s good news. Are you allowed to go back to work or are you having to quarantine?
I pretty much had the same scenario, same timeline even, yet I have to quarantine for 14 days.

 

Go back. I was never told to quarantine since I was not in direct sustained contact with the positive person.

 

I was in contact for a cumulative of 15 minutes over the course of the day apparently. Both masked and not within 6 feet.

It’s best to be safe I guess.

Didn't do much today but did take the Camaro out for some exercise earlier this afternoon . Now enjoying a Wendy's Pretzel bacon Pub burger and fries for Dinner !!

These Racing 5 point safety harnesses from Crow safety gear arrived today . These will replace the RJS racing harnesses that have expired

 

My wife waited through 4 days of fever and no other symptoms. Nine days after they were gone she received a negative result. All of this in quarantine. Good thing I was working from home.
The report also said this may be a false negative and she may want to be retested.

I always wondered, can they be re-certified after they expire?

 

Yes they can and its limited to harnesses up to 8 yrs old . The average cost to recertification a 5 point harness is $70 ,plus you've got pay shipping to / from the mfg
