Despite having my head stuck in the toilet today doing a deep cleaning in the bathroom along with the shower, sink and bathroom tiles I couldn't bring myself to do a picture of the crapper for the moving water challenge LOL. I am more inclined to try and represent the event experienced as it really is, not the artistic challenge.

So anyhow nowadays most people use a Neutral Density filter for moving water. Played around today as the sun was setting with my first ND filter which I just got.

Feel in a way it is a 70's type of effect even though it came out long after the 70's. Kind of reminds me of a Mexican black velvet painting, not totally sure of the artistic effect but think I like it, pushing my boundaries however. I think better with the logical part of my mind and do better with the accurate representative, but it is kind of growing on me.

Good Morning everyone! Heavy frost on the Taco this morning, ain't complaining it is December! Problem is I have an overwhelming urge to do "something" to the truck, it's just too damn cold.

    Good morning everyone!

Getting ready for our 400 mile annual trip/drive to spend the holidays with the family in Buffalo. Taking the Tacoma instead of the Prius. Last few years we've been taking the Prius because of gas prices. Now that prices have eased off a little, it'll be good to take the truck on a long drive.

Morning, All, from central MD. Third of three days of winter and then we're back to more Autumn like temps tomorrow. YAY !! Still haven't put my winter wheels and tires on my older MINI. Been waiting for a forecast of snow to appear in the 10-day forecast. I hope it's February before I put them on. Haha.... right!

    Good morning

Drive safe! Have a sister that lives in Buffalo and more times than not we end up getting together there rather than the Valley (near Elmira). Last few years have taken to flying that trip more than driving although I know the roads well from here.

Nicely done, I like it! Moved here from Asheville and it makes me want to go back. Transylvania is a County just to the West of Asheville and means land of waterfalls. And it is named appropriately!

Morning all. My only kid is home from her first semester of college, so it will be nice spending some time with her. Getting to know your child as an adult is pretty special.

    Good morning all.
Last day of my mini vacation. Had sick days to take before the end of the year.
Rain and warm weather the past week.
About 28 right now and clear. Electrician coming today to begin install of my house gen.

Safe travels Mike. Best of luck to your boy.

I could do with this weather all winter. After last year, a little easy going feels good.
Dam groundhogs are tearing my backyard apart. Since no frozen ground yet, they are expanding.
Next door neighbor caused this and I've been suffering the past 10 years.
I've been thinking of a basooka or howitzer. That's ok. I just worry about how the front looks for now.

Can't wait for the next 2 weeks to be over....

    Morning all.

Going to the new Star Wars movie with our son and his fiancee this afternoon, followed by dinner at our favorite Mongolian BBQ place.

Running water pics ... I'll have to move over to the desktop after some coffee and see what I can find. I know we have some on there.

I had a family of groundhogs that turned the ground under my storage shed into their home. Continuing to sprinkle cayenne pepper around the shed and lots of it at the ingress and egress area persuaded them to take up residence elsewhere (likely the neighbor's shed. Now if I could just get rid of the family of skunks that likes to dig in my mulch beds. Put down grub-ex to take away their food source but they still come around.

Awesome, enjoy your time with her ! Looking forward to my youngest son's return home in February from England. It'll be over 18 months since I last saw him, he turned 20 in the meantime and I'm sure I'll see a fairly drastic increase in maturity in him. Being a fireman and being stationed overseas will do that to a young man.

As a kid I used to get .25 cents from the local farmers for the woodchuck tails that I would shoot around the fields, they do some damage. When I first moved here used to see an infomercial at 5 AM for the Rodenator Pro on TV. Looks like they are still around. Would do a number on the yard but I can't help but think.... I want one!

I love it. But I'm sure a local ordinance and red tape would get me in trouble.
