Good Morning all our tree was always in the living room infront of the bay window. wife wanted in in the family room so we could enjoy it more.

 

good news here. my wifes boss test was negative for that covid crap. she is still sick as crap but just a normal virus or something.

 

Beaver pond water is better.
That Tim Horton swill is a close second (sorry @Cold Iron )
And that burnt Dunky is a last resort.

 

She really needs to be careful now.
A double dose of sick is not good

After 20 years of drinking coffee from a large green metal can 7x24 made by the lowest bidder beaver pond water would even taste good

In the 70's even McDonalds had decent coffee, so did Dunky it was decent. Then again back then I used to like Maxwell house but if I can't get Tim Horton's it is usually Folgers now.

First 2 weeks at the cabin last month somehow I left a paper bag back at the house. It had the coffee in it Longest I have gone without coffee since Moby Dick was but a wee minnow. Was able to work through the jitters though.



Breasted out 2 grouse yesterday cut them into strips, egg wash and shore lunch batter then in the cast iron pan. Will do the other 3 today. Need the wings off them for the pup and training.

UPS delivered these last night !!!

 

Got to the bed of the truck, fixed all the parts that fly off in the dirt, oiled the high lift, repacked the spare parts box, cleaned.

Came inside, sat down and waited for this thing to go away.

 

So today I was lucky enough for a spot in the warehouse for the Corolla.
So she will sleep inside and the Taco will be inside the garage this year.
Make so much easier to plow and clean.

No bars open unless they serve food. It’s been that way since April.
I did my Christmas shopping and picked up the gift for the Mrs via contactless curbside. This is the earliest I’ve ever shopped for her. I strained the back again yesterday picking up the leaves. They were wet from Thursday’s monsoon. I have tomorrow off as well and there’s another rain storm coming in. I may drop the truck off to have my new snow tires installed - we’ll see. Oh, the battery is weak too. It’s going to be an expensive month...
