I just love it when another dealer can blow a customer off and make them seek another one and not have to deal with a problem. Then the new dealer has to do twice as much work with paperwork and talking with Toyota. The best part is all this extra work is not paid to the tech.
Most times the owner is crying about nothing however, in this case, he has a legit problem on his Tundra. What’s even more frustrating is I drove this truck 100 yards and I knew what was wrong. I confirmed a repair procedure. So now I’ll find out if I still have to do all the second phase extra work before I can get this truck repaired. The other dealer did the stuff to get paid and not confirm their work.
If you get in this situation and go to another dealer and they fix your vehicle you best make sure how much you appreciate their effort cause for sure the poor sucker that worked on your vehicle didn’t get paid enough...

The only good part is I’m not going to have to put up with this shit a whole lot more and I’m going to fix the last vehicle the same way I’ve been fixing since the first one. The best I can. So when I leave no one can say I slacked off or changed my attitude on getting to the goal line.

    OK RANT OVER...

    FUCK THE FUCKIN FUCKERS..

    Good morning.

There’s a little warmer weather here today and through the weekend.

    Be safe.

    Easier than sheetrock too.
I am between unskilled and amateur with sheetrock, the quality of my work went way up when I got a Rockwell Sonic Crafter.

Good Morning. It’s Thursday but it feels like it should be Saturday. Though that is typical around the holidays. Things go light speed up until a couple of weeks before a break and then start moving in slooooow motion...even my coffee is taking longer to brew. Have a great day. Stay well...stay safe.

    Morning all

What you can't see is the box is not flush, it sticks out about a quarter inch past the wall.

Thanks for all the positive feedback with my son.
Last night I pulled up the video of him singing on our smart tv so he could watch himself on the big screen, his eyes lit up and he says "I'm a rockstar!!" :)

Those boxes have been life savers around here...especially in the basement where it is concrete block and 2x2 construction. The previous owner had no idea what he was doing so I’ve spent the last 10 years fixing his fixes.

throat is feeling funky. so either the antibiotics last week didn't do their job and the infection is still spreading or i have an antibiotic resistant strain. or could be COVID. off to get a rapid COVID test and a test for strep throat.

F this month. F this year. F it all.

yup. waiting for my truck to warm up before i go down there.
i called to see what the procedure is since i guess there's a possibility of COVID....I haven't been anywhere but as run down as my immune system is it wouldn't take much to succumb to another infection.

so i drive down. park in the lot. call the clinic from the truck to register. once they have an exam room free someone will come out to get me and escort me into the building and straight to the exam room for the rapid test.
